This is a standout opportunity for a Town Planner with strong industry insight and networks—whether you're ready to take that next step into leadership or seeking a fresh strategic role at Director level.

They are one of the fastest-growing consultancies in the UK, having acquired and integrated several specialist planning and property firms in recent years as part of their ambitious growth strategy. Their Bristol office is a key focus for investment, with a strong pipeline of work across residential, commercial, mixed-use, heritage, renewable energy and infrastructure sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Join a dynamic and entrepreneurial team that’s part of a firm on the rise
  • Work on diverse and high-profile projects across the South West and beyond
  • Access genuine career progression opportunities within a practice
  • Develop and manage client relationships, acting as a key point of contact and ensuring high-quality, commercially sound planning advice.
  • Support business growth through proposal writing, attending industry events and identifying new opportunities in the market.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Ensure compliance with planning legislation, company policies and quality standards, maintaining professional integrity and confidentiality at all times.

You will have:

  • Full member of the RTPI
  • Have good local planning knowledge across the South West and client contacts
  • Have strong project and people management skills
  • Used to working with minimal supervision and have a strong ability to use their own initiative
  • Capable of managing a wide and complex workload
  • Personable and a strong team player

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary and performance-based bonus
  • Hybrid/flexible working arrangements
  • Private healthcare and enhanced benefits
  • Career development support and structured leadership pathway
  • Social events
  • Generous Holiday days
