GLASGOW CITY COUNCIL AND ARMS LENGTH ORGANISATION is seeking a senior professional to lead the landscape and design functions within the City’s Planning Service. You will headline a team supporting statutory delivery of Development Management and wider Planning functions, providing specialist advice to stakeholders and input to council projects.

You will bring degree-level qualifications, professional institute membership, and strong leadership with analytical and communication skills to balance

• A degree-level qualification in an appropriate discipline.
• Membership of a relevant Professional Institute is required.
• Strong leadership and team-management experience within planning/design contexts.

Mansioni

• Lead on the landscape and design functions within the Planning Service.
• Manage a team supporting statutory delivery of Development Management and related Planning functions.
• Provide specialist advice to internal and external stakeholders; input to Council-led projects.
