About the Planning and Stock Control Manager role

The purpose of this role is to support the company's vision by effectively coordinating current planning and stock control functions, ensuring the efficient product lifecycle from planning and production to meeting customer needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee packaging, raw materials, production schedules, and delivery to third-party storage to ensure smooth factory output in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
  • Monitor KPIs, analyze trends, and generate reports on risks, stock levels, and underperformance to support business decision-making.
  • Build strong relationships across Commercial, Operations, Procurement, and Sales teams to align supply planning, production, and customer requirements.
  • Develop protocols, drive efficiency, and implement solutions to enhance production throughput and operational effectiveness.

About you

  • Experience working in an FMCG environment, ideally in a planning capacity.
  • Unfazed by taking full responsibility, with the ability to adapt to change and work under pressure.
  • Proficient in IT, especially MS Excel (understanding and using formulas is desirable).
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills.

Additional details

The Planning and Stock Control Manager position (ref: 8933) offers a salary of up to GBP32,000 per annum, depending on experience.

The site is located in Fife, Scotland, and is accessible from Edinburgh, Dunfermline, Cowdenbeath, Glenrothes, Kirkcaldy, and Cupar.

The package includes a pension scheme with 5% employee and 4% employer contributions, and 30 days of holiday including bank holidays.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week during office hours.
