Planning and Stock Control Manager

An award-winning food manufacturing company that has expanded its production sites, advanced its manufacturing techniques, and developed a vast range of branded products recognised by retailers across the UK and internationally.

About the Planning and Stock Control Manager job

The purpose of your role will be to support the company’s vision to effectively coordinate current planning and stock control functions, consistently ensure efficient product life cycle from planning and production to meeting their customer’s needs.

Key tasks
  • Oversee packaging, raw materials, production schedules, and delivery to third-party storage to ensure smooth factory output in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
  • Monitor KPIs, analyse trends, and provide reports on risks, stock levels, and underperformance to support business decision-making.
  • Build strong relationships across Commercial, Operations, Procurement, and Sales teams to align supply planning, production, and customer needs.
  • Develop protocols, drive efficiency, and implement solutions to enhance production throughput and operational effectiveness.
About You
  • The successful candidate shall have experience working in an FMCG environment, ideally in a planning capacity.
  • Unafraid to take full responsibility with the ability to adapt to change and work under pressure.
  • An experienced IT user, especially MS Excel (the ability to understand and use formulae is particularly desirable).
  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills.

The Planning and Stock Control Manager job (ref:8933) is paying up to £35,000 per annum according to your experience.

The site is located in Fife, Scotland and is commutable from Edinburgh, Dunfermline, Cowdenbeath, Glenrothes, Kirkcaldy and Cupar.

The package includes Pension: 5% Employee contributions and 4% Employer contributions, 30 days holiday including bank holidays.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, Office Hours - 40 hours a week.
