This role will be known internally as Executive Officer.
The University of Bath is seeking to appoint a Planning and Project Manager (internally titled Executive Officer) within the Advancement Office. This position will contribute to the university's ambitions for alumni and supporter engagement and philanthropy, working within a supportive, friendly, and dedicated team.
The Executive Officer has three key responsibilities:
The role involves coordinating induction for new staff and working across various areas of the Advancement Office. It offers diverse opportunities to apply skills and experience.
The office builds long-term relationships with alumni, friends, and supporters, supporting a network of over 150,000 alumni worldwide. Philanthropy is a key focus, with donations supporting student access, research, and community engagement. The team values collaboration, ambition, inspiration, agility, and respect, aligning with the university's strategy.
The university emphasizes learning and development, offering tailored programs and working with sector leaders. Colleagues are supportive, valuing collaboration and shared success.
Suitable backgrounds include roles such as Events Manager, Project Manager, or Planning Manager.
