Dedicated to the M&S operation at Thorncliffe, you’ll be responsible for leading all aspects of operational planning on site, ensuring resource and capacity plans are in line with customer volume forecasts and budgeted cost expectations.

This is a full-time, permanent role. The working hours are Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:00, with some flexibility required. This is logistics after all!

You’ll be paid a salary of up to £30,500 per annum depending upon experience. What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Build & communicate efficient daily and weekly plans that meet capacity and customer service expectations.
• Coordinate with agencies regarding operational requirements, recruitment, and training plans.
• Maintain strong working relationships internally and externally, fostering understanding of operational needs.
• Oversee the quality of operational input into planning and reporting tools such as rotas, reports, and planning models.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Experience in demand, capacity, and resource planning, preferably in third-party logistics or a similar environment.
• Strong analytical skills with high IT proficiency, including building and developing spreadsheets and databases.
• Confident communication skills for liaising across various functions such as operations, finance, HR, senior management, and customers.
