The Role

We are seeking a Lane Rental Planner for our South East Water contract.

Your role will involve planning work orders to ensure successful execution, serving as the initial point of contact to map out objectives, and communicating with colleagues and customers to define requirements and expectations.

You will translate these requirements into precise work instructions for operational teams.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Planning activities for operational teams using various systems.
  2. Monitoring work progress from start to finish, ensuring regular updates.
  3. Providing solutions to issues as the first point of contact for operations colleagues.
  4. Processing, raising, and closing traffic management, footway, road closures, notices, and permit requests.

Ideal candidate traits:

  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with quick decision-making skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with enjoyment in engaging with diverse people.
  • Computer literacy and customer orientation.
  • Knowledge of Lane Rental is advantageous.
