Job summary

Sigma Recruitment Ltd in Bridgend is seeking a Planning Administrator to join the operations team. You will help keep information flowing between production, purchasing and customer service, ensuring orders are met on time.

This role offers an industry-leading flexitime scheme, 8am-4pm, Monday to Friday, plus benefits including salary sacrifice pension, EV lease and nursery support.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in supply chain, logistics or planning administration.
• Confidence to communicate face-to-face with different teams, including shop floor.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail while juggling several priorities at once.

Responsibilities

• Allocate realistic dates to customer orders and track promised delivery.
• Update demand and production scheduling in the ERP system SAP.
• Monitor open orders and flag shortages or delays early.
• Maintain accurate spreadsheets, trackers and business data.
• Collaborate with shop floor, orders and purchasing teams to keep everyone informed.

• Competitive salary, depending on experience
• Days: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, office-based in Bridgend

What you'll do as the Planning Administrator

As part of the operations team at an award-winning manufacturer, you'll keep information flowing between production, purchasing, and customer service so orders are met on time.

• Allocate realistic dates to customer orders, keeping track of what's already promised
• Update demand and production scheduling information in the ERP system (SAP)
• Monitor open orders and flag potential shortages or delays early
