Salary: up to £29,988 per annum

We are the largest provider of repairs, maintenance, and regeneration services across the UK. Mears offers tailored rapid-response and planned maintenance services through partnerships with over 70 local authorities, Arm's Length Management Organisations, and Housing Associations.

About the Role:

As a Planner, you will work on a stable and profitable contract, delivering excellent service and support through our local teams, who understand the importance of working together for the community. This contract covers Redbridge council within the social housing sector.

You will be based in our Ilford branch, performing admin duties, WIP management, handling calls and emails, raising repairs, planning works, ensuring operatives have a full diary of jobs daily, liaising with operatives and sub-contractors, and planning follow-up work as needed.

Day-to-day duties:

  • Answering client and internal calls and emails
  • Planning work for in-house operatives and sub-contractors
  • Administering compliance checks and visits
  • Maintaining internal MCM system
  • Performing general administration duties
  • Completing mandatory training and compliance requirements

Role Criteria:

  • Previous experience working in a call centre
  • Experience with planning works
  • Good communication skills
  • Team player

All roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work in the UK. Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship. Candidates should also be aware that all roles are subject to DBS/Security checks before employment begins.
