Position Overview

The NMN was established in 2018 to manage all hard services PPM and reactive work for the DWP contract. Due to its success—achieving an average 95% SLA for PPM and 93% for Reactive SLA monthly—additional Mitie contracts have been awarded.

Within the NMN, the Service Delivery team manages the delivery of hard services PPM & reactive works using scheduling software (PSO 360). The Planner ensures all work orders are correctly entered into the system for proper assignment to engineers.

The working pattern is Monday to Friday, rotating shifts between 7am and 7pm (7am-3pm, 8am-4pm, 11am-7pm), subject to change. The role is based near Birmingham International Airport, close to the train station.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately record all job-related information in the IT systems.
  • Ensure all jobs are completed within SLA and budget following proper procedures.
  • Review reports to prepare work orders for scheduling within SLA.
  • Raise purchase orders for reactive work to ensure timely completion.
  • Respond to email queries from clients and engineers promptly.
  • Update work orders in Maximo with accurate information.
  • Arrange third-party attendance, raising purchase orders and work requests as needed.
  • Maintain professional communication with clients, engineers, and team members.
  • Escalate issues promptly and maintain audit trails.
  • Follow company policies and report deficiencies or safety concerns.
  • Use PPE and work equipment properly, reporting issues or training needs.
Qualifications
  • Strong IT skills, including experience with CAFM systems like Maximo and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills for clear, positive interactions.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
  • Problem-solving skills using technology and reported data.
  • Adherence to process and compliance standards.
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Note: Security clearance (BPSS) is required.
