Planner (MRTPI)

Location: London

Candidates are required to have:

• RTPI and/or RICS (P&D) accredited qualification;
  * Recently qualified or will be due to qualify soon (MRTPI);
  * 1-3 years planning experience;
  * Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  * Excellent report writing ability;
  * Keen interest in planning and development;
  * An ability to negotiate effectively;
  * Excellent experience of communication and client interfacing skills;
  * Excellent presentation skills;
  * Strong attention to detail;
  * High service delivery skills;
  * Excellent communicator, both written and verbal;
  * Self-motivated;
  * Committed and organised;
  * Excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages.

What does the role involve?

• Preparing advice to clients;
  * Working with team members on developing planning strategies, preparing programmes and reviewing information;
  * Drafting or reviewing reports, co-ordinating the preparation and submission of planning applications/ appeals/ representations;
  * Identifying new business opportunities, assisting in firm-wide business development and preparing fee proposals;
  * Developing individual client base and part generating own workload;
  * Providing planning advice to clients and attending meetings;
  * Responsible for maintaining continuing professional development;
  * Any additional duties as reasonably requested.
