JOB PURPOSE

Burberry is seeking a skilled Planner to join the Inventory Planning team. You will support all Global Rolling OTB activities within Burberry’s Merchandise Planning & Inventory organization, embodying our values and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Communicating and ensuring adherence to commercial principles related to Global Inventory management, with a strong focus on inventory holding by channel
  • Supporting the Global Rolling Open to Buy process
  • Managing the Global Delist process and assessing risks in end-of-season inventory
  • Optimizing global inventory through stock rebalances and identifying opportunities
RESPONSIBILITIES

Global OTB Management

  • Consolidating the Global Rolling OTB for all channels (FP Stores, Digital, Outlet, Wholesale)
  • Preparing insightful analyses on channel performance relative to plans and identifying inventory risks
  • Collaborating with senior management and finance to set annual margin and sales targets
  • Tracking margin performance and adherence across product divisions

Option Consolidation & Tracking

  • Assessing option plans within OTB to evaluate revenue and assortment productivity

Global Rebalance

  • Coordinating stock rebalances, managing rebalance templates, and communicating stock movements
  • Identifying opportunities to maximize stock productivity and improve sell-through and weeks of cover

Global Delist

  • Maintaining the global delist files to track product lifecycle and exit strategies
  • Working with retail and merchandising teams to develop exit strategies that maximize clearance while protecting full-price sales and brand integrity
PERSONAL PROFILE
  • Experience in planning or analytics, supporting global Open to Buy processes
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build cross-functional relationships
  • Attention to detail and analytical capabilities
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Organized, analytical, and results-driven
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem-solving skills with a focus on results despite obstacles
  • Flexible and capable of managing multiple priorities
