Job summary

Intelligent Energy is seeking a detail-oriented Planner to join our Operations team at the Loughborough facility. You will coordinate production planning and material supply to meet project and customer needs, ensuring timely, cost-effective availability of materials.

You will manage ERP data, communicate demand plans across teams, and maintain reporting to identify constraints and actions. You will support inbound/outbound shipping and drive supplier performance improvements in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or degree in a relevant business subject.
• Proven planning and/or procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience creating and controlling Bills of Materials.
• Experience working with an ERP system and timely, accurate reporting.
• Strong organisational skills with a flexible, solutions-focused approach in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communicator with cross-functional collaboration and supplier relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan production and material supply to meet project and customer needs and ensure timely, cost-effective material availability.

• Maintain accurate ERP data (e.g. supplier commit dates, lead-times, MOQs) for accurate MRP/PMRP.

• Input into S&OP and MRP processes and manage outputs; coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with Suppliers and Shipping & Logistics Controller.
• Monitor supplier performance KPIs and support supplier and process improvements.

About The Role

Working as part of our Operations team, you will be responsible for the planning of production and material supply activities in line with project and customer needs to ensure all material is available in a timely and cost-effective manner to support the planned build/consumption dates.

You will ensure demand plans are clearly communicated to suppliers, production and projects, working closely with the respective teams to gain early visibility of requirements. You will maintain accurate ERP data (e.g. supplier commit dates, lead-times, MOQs) to ensure accurate MRP/PMRP.

You will create and maintain clear-to-build reporting, identifying constraints, risks and actions, ensuring clear and timely reporting to stakeholders, actively managing and resolve material supply issues.

You will provide necessary inputs into S&OP and MRP processes and manage the outputs. You will be responsible for ensuring all inbound and outbound shipments are handled appropriately by working closely with suppliers and our Shipping & Logistics Controller (value of goods declared, process adherence, etc).

You will monitor supplier performance KPIs and support supplier and process improvements.

About You

You will ideally hold an HNC, HND or degree (or equivalent) in a relevant business-related subject.

You will have a proven track record of planning and/or procurement in a manufacturing environment and experience of the creation and control of Bills of Materials.

You will have experience of working with an ERP system. You will be able to demonstrate experience in timely and accurate reporting.

It is key to us that you have strong organisational skills and the ability to work with a flexible and solutions focused approach, in an agile and fast paced environment. You must also be an effective communicator, able to work collaboratively with a cross-functional team. A good level of commercial awareness and supplier relationship skills are also essential.
