About the Role

Our Planners are vital to our business. This role primarily involves providing professional planning and programming services for pre-contract and project teams.


As our Planner, you will:

  1. Take ownership of weekly progress updates, compile as-built data, analyze trends, measure performance, and generate reports through site walk-arounds and weekly meetings with the site team and supply chain.
  2. Produce mid/short-term programmes with the site team to anticipate issues, ensure proper resourcing, and incorporate advice from the site team and key supply chain partners.
  3. Understand the project, Wates, and client needs thoroughly, and propose and evaluate alternative solutions to enhance project success.
  4. Be proficient in P6 planning software; knowledge of NEC contracts is advantageous but not essential. Wates also uses ASTA Powerproject.
