Job summary

Costain Group PLC recherche un Planner pour un projet d'infrastructure clé dans le Sud-Ouest. Le candidat idéal aura une expérience solide en gestion de projets, une maîtrise du logiciel P6, et sera en mesure de gérer efficacement les coûts tout en interagissant avec des équipes de direction et des clients.

Qualifications

• Expérience avec P6 et gestion de projets dans des environnements complexes.
• Doit être capable de communiquer efficacement avec les équipes et la direction.
• Expérience en gestion des coûts souhaitée.

Responsibilities

• Conduire des examens de planification avec les équipes concernées.
• Analyser le chemin critique du projet et conseiller l'équipe sur les actions correctives.
• Produire des rapports de projet à partir du logiciel de planification.

We have a great opportunity for a Planner to join our project in the Southwest, where we are a delivery partner on a key infrastructure project.

The Planning Engineer is accountable to the Project Controls Manager for day-to-day planning matters. The Planning Engineer remains functionally accountable to the Functional Lead (Planning).

Please note: Potential candidates for this role must be able to obtain and retain security clearance to be considered for this position. (Minimum 5 years residence in UK)

Responsibilities

• Lead planning reviews with respective teams
• Display and analyse the project Critical Path and advise the project team of the results and any appropriate corrective action
• Correctly record project progress in the programme, reschedule programme to reflect progress data, and communicate the results to the project team, advising on any appropriate corrective actions
• Produce project reports/data directly from the planning software
• Understand and report on the project using Earned Value Analysis techniques and interpret/communicate the results and any corrective actions to the project team
• Produce programmes that satisfy contractual requirements

Qualifications

• Confident in presenting to Senior Leadership Team and Clients
• Proficient with P6 software, including data analysis and cost loading experience
• Cost Management experience in sectors such as nuclear, process engineering, oil & gas, or civil engineering
• Experience in project controls and/or project cost management in relevant sectors
• Experience applying estimating, budgeting, and cost control in complex environments
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project/construction management, or a related field
