Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules across electrical and engineering contracts.
  • Collaborate with Contracts Managers to define planning rates and key project milestones.
  • Establish logical work sequences, durations, and dependencies for all project activities.
  • Monitor and report on project progress through attendance at programme and stakeholder meetings.
  • Review supplier and subcontractor schedules to ensure alignment with overall project timelines.
  • Utilize Earned Value Management (EVM) and resource planning tools to track performance and forecast outcomes.
  • Prepare and implement change controls related to project scope, schedule, and budget allocations.
  • Provide accurate scheduling insights to support internal planning and coordination across teams.

Qualification:

  • HNC, HND, or BSc in Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a project planning role within the electrical or engineering sectors.
  • Proven ability to define efficient work sequences and manage activity durations.
  • Strong understanding of scheduling methodologies, planning software, and progress tracking tools.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities, with experience handling multiple concurrent projects.
