Job description

We have a great opportunity for a Construction Planner to join our client's team based at their office in Maidstone. As a Construction Planner, you will provide support to the Construction Department and interface with other Departments (i.e., Development, Technical, Finance, and Commercial) during all phases of a project. This role may involve working on one or multiple projects as needed.

Requirements

1. You will play a significant role in developing a unified planning system used by the Construction department and the wider business.
2. Assist in the preparation and revision of construction and pre-construction programmes.
3. Assist in the preparation and alteration of construction logistics plans, visual time slices, and tender presentations from a construction planning perspective.
4. Assist with the production of 3D models.
5. Assist in the preparation of CEMPs (Construction and Environmental Management Plans).
6. Prepare progress reporting schedules in Excel.
7. Update monthly progress reports on projects.
8. Maintain the programme issue record, ensure proper filing, and distribute up-to-date programmes and logistics.
9. Gather feedback from site regarding programme accuracy to facilitate continuous improvement.
10. Visit construction sites to broaden knowledge of construction methodologies and standards, and verify reported progress.
