The Role:

This is a rare chance to take your first steps onto the developer side of the property world. Working closely with both the Land Director and Planning Director, you'll be involved in a wide range of responsibilities across live and pipeline care development projects. You’ll gain hands-on experience from the outset, with a strong support system to help you learn and progress quickly. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the planning process for new and existing care home developments.
  • Assisting with site assessments, appraisals, and due diligence.
  • Helping to prepare and submit planning applications.
  • Liaising with local authorities, consultants, and external stakeholders.
  • Tracking project progress and maintain key planning documents.
  • Learning from experienced directors and contribute to team decision-making.

Requirements:

  • A keen interest in planning and development.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Relevant academic background (planning, property, geography, or similar).
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Some experience (internship or junior role) in planning, land, or property.
  • Knowledge of UK planning policy and development process.
