Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for multiple experienced Planners to join a leading utilities contractor, in a permanent position. The successful applicant will be required to work 3 days a week, on-site, from each of our client’s sites in Bristol, Pembroke, Indian Queens, Melksham and Cowley. You will be given the opportunity to work on a variety of Utilities and Power projects, with a large focus on Distribution and Transmission.

Competitive salary ranging from £55,000-£75,000 (depending on experience).

Responsibilities:
  • Produce and maintain concise and efficient project schedules using software tools, such as MS Project and Primavera P6.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure schedules remain in alignment with availability and project needs.
  • Keep track of the project’s progression and identity any potential delays or risks, whilst supplying solutions and preventatives.
  • Support the preparation of baseline and tender programmes.
  • Create and maintain project development reports, documentation, forecasts, and potential scenario analyses.
  • Ensure the project follows the requirements set out by the client and relevant regulatory boards.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience as a Planner, or a related role, within the Utilities sector.
  • Proficient understanding within the use of relevant software tools, such as MS Project and/or Primavera P6.
  • Solid grasp of project management systems and critical path procedures.
  • Strong ability to interpret complex data, reports, and documentation.
  • Excellent communicator, with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
  • Sound organisation skills, with a strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
