Assystem is seeking a Commissioning Planning Engineer for the HPC project at Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater. You will own the master IWS schedule from commissioning through energisation, shaping decisions at programme level, and serving as the intelligent planning lead for the team.
You should bring an engineering or construction background; nuclear project experience is a bonus. The role offers hybrid working and a chance to influence Britain’s energy future on one of the world’s largest
Are you a Planning from an engineering background who wants to be the go-to person on one of the most complex and consequential engineering programmes in the world?
We're looking for a Commissioning Planning Engineer to join the Integrated Project Controls (IPC) function at Hinkley Point C — the UK's new nuclear power station and a £26bn landmark in British infrastructure.
This isn't a role where you'll pick up a programme mid-flow. You'll be embedded from the commissioning phase through to energisation — owning the Level 2/4 Integrated Work Schedule, shaping decisions at programme level, and seeing the full arc of a once-in-a-generation project through to completion.
Assystem is one of the world's leading nuclear engineering consultancies, and our people are at the heart of HPC — the most significant energy infrastructure project in the UK for a generation.
This is the kind of role that defines a career. If you want to say you helped build Britain's energy future — and be the person others relied on to keep it on track — this is it.
