Assystem is seeking a Commissioning Planning Engineer to join the IPC function at Hinkley Point C. You will own and maintain the Level 2/4 Integrated Work Schedule in Primavera P6 and coordinate across Cost, Risk and Earned Value disciplines to keep the programme on track.
The role is embedded from commissioning through energisation, with hybrid working and a base at HPC Bridgwater, requiring the ability to travel to site as needed and to operate at senior leadership level.
Can be based in anywhere but you will need to commute to HPC 3 days a week.
Are you a Planning from an engineering background who wants to be the go-to person on one of the most complex and consequential engineering programmes in the world?
We're looking for a Commissioning Planning Engineer to join the Integrated Project Controls (IPC) function at Hinkley Point C — the UK's new nuclear power station and a £26bn landmark in British infrastructure.
This isn't a role where you'll pick up a programme mid-flow. You'll be embedded from the commissioning phase through to energisation — owning the Level 2/4 Integrated Work Schedule, shaping decisions at programme level, and seeing the full arc of a once-in-a-generation project through to completion.
Assystem is one of the world's leading nuclear engineering consultancies, and our people are at the heart of HPC — the most significant energy infrastructure project in the UK for a generation.
Here’s what you get:
This is the kind of role that defines a career. If you want to say you helped build Britain's energy future — and be the person others relied on to keep it on track — this is it.
