Planned Preventative Maintenance Engineer Mate

Location: 6 Fire Systems, 6 Pirin Court

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, the Planned Preventative Maintenance Engineer Mate will undertake planned maintenance activities on a wide range of Fire Systems assets, mainly in the Trackside environment. The role involves working on a permanent night shift pattern from Sunday to Thursday, in all weather conditions. You will work as part of a team and independently, ensuring safety at all times. Travel between stations is required, so a full driver’s license is essential.

Key Deliverables:
  • Completing preventative maintenance tasks on fire systems nightly within the rail environment
  • Assisting with daily tasks aligned with business expectations
  • Working collaboratively and independently as needed
  • Maintaining health and safety standards
  • Reporting progress regularly to the site supervisor
  • Using ServiceNow platform for visit reports
Responsibilities:
  • Providing accurate site reports on activities
  • Completing maintenance as per schedule
  • Ensuring maintenance quality and reporting issues
  • Handling administrative tasks promptly
  • Adhering to QEHS and drug & alcohol policies
Qualifications / Skills:
