Job Description: Planned Preventative Maintenance Engineer - London, United Kingdom (On-site)

PPM Engineer - Fire Extinguishers – Pirin Court - Nights

Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, the PPM Engineer will undertake planned maintenance activities on a wide range of assets mainly in the Trackside environment. This role involves working on a permanent night shift from Sunday to Thursday, in all weather conditions. The candidate must work autonomously, prioritize safety, and have a full driver’s license due to frequent travel between stations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Complete preventative maintenance tasks nightly.
  2. Guide daily task delivery aligned with business expectations.
  3. Work independently and as part of a team.
  4. Maintain health and safety standards.
  5. Monitor work to ensure compliance.
  6. Use ServiceNow platform for reporting and updates.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Provide accurate reports on completed activities to the site SPC or line manager.
  • Complete maintenance as per schedule and standards.
  • Report issues and complete administrative tasks promptly.
  • Adhere to QEHS and Drug & Alcohol policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Knowledge of system maintenance procedures relevant to the contract.
  • Experience with relevant systems.
  • Experience in the LUL or Rail environment.
Candidate Profile:

Seeking an engineer with experience in planned or preventative fire maintenance, ideally within London Underground or Network Rail sectors. Must be available for permanent night shifts (Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm – 6 am), with previous multi-site maintenance experience, and hold a full UK driving license. Drug & Alcohol testing is required.
