Planned Preventative Maintenance Engineer - Fire Systems - Pirin Court - Nights

Job Summary

Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, the Planned Preventative Maintenance Engineer will undertake planned maintenance activities on a wide range of Fire Systems assets mainly in the Trackside environment. You will work on a permanent night shift pattern from Sunday to Thursday, in all weather conditions. You will be part of a team and also complete tasks individually, always prioritizing safety. Frequent travel between stations is required, so a full driver’s license is essential.


Key Deliverables
  • Complete preventative maintenance tasks on fire systems nightly within the rail environment
  • Assist in delivering daily tasks aligned with business expectations
  • Work effectively both as part of a team and independently
  • Maintain health and safety standards and practices
  • Report progress regularly to the site supervisor
  • Utilize the ServiceNow platform for visit reports

Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate site reports on completed activities to the site SPC or line manager
  • Complete maintenance tasks according to the scheduled plan
  • Ensure maintenance meets required standards and report issues promptly
  • Complete administrative tasks efficiently
  • Adhere to QEHS requirements
  • Comply with Drug & Alcohol policies

Qualifications / Skill Requirements
  • Knowledge of system maintenance procedures relevant to Fire Systems within Rail
  • Previous experience with appropriate Fire Systems
  • Experience working in the LUL or Rail environment
  • Valid driving license
  • Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol testing, as work involves trackside activities
