Niyaa People is recruiting a Planned Maintenance Supervisor for a Newbury-based role with a social housing provider. You will oversee planned works, manage contractors and operatives, monitor programmes and budgets, and ensure quality and safety standards are met across properties in the Newbury area.

The successful candidate will have essential social housing experience, strong organisational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple teams while minimising resident disruption.

Formación

• Essential experience within social housing, overseeing planned maintenance works.
• Experience managing contractors and maintenance operatives.
• Experience carrying out site inspections and quality checks.
• Ability to monitor budgets, programmes and contractor performance.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with a customer-focused approach.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise planned maintenance and property improvement works across social housing properties.
• Manage contractors and operatives to ensure works meet specifications and timelines.
• Monitor progress against programmes, budgets and deadlines.
• Carry out site inspections and quality checks throughout delivery.
• Identify defects and non-compliant works and coordinate remedial actions.
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors and internal teams to maintain delivery.
• Ensure all works comply with health and safety legislation and building standards.
• Liaise with residents and housing teams to minimise disruption during works.
• Maintain records of inspections, progress, costs and completed works.
• Identify delays and resolve issues to keep projects on track.
