Job Description:

Do you have experience in negotiating the best rates for hotels and suppliers for travel groups within an inbound DMC/Tour Operator?

  • Work with Contracts Managers and liaise with the Operations Department.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hotels and service suppliers.
  • Source hotel space at the best rates within budgets for ad hoc groups and tour series, and contract coach suppliers for groups.
  • Take responsibility for placing groups, confirming details with the operations department, and updating space and rates using operational software.
  • Update your product knowledge through research, site visits, and placing trips.
  • Inform hotels of current numbers and release unused rooms.
  • Track cancellation deadlines, fulfill allocations, and evaluate risks with contract managers regarding overbookings.
  • Accurately insert seasonal space into the operational system, following procedures to minimize errors.
  • Manage cancellation reports based on contract deadlines.
