DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an enthusiastic Supplier Quality Engineer student to join our team specializing in Quality for our Corporate Categories SQE department in Huddersfield. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an industry expert and unlock your potential!

This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence on 4th August 2025. It is a 100% remote role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to Functional Excellence initiatives, working with other Business Units to share processes, tools, and resources to achieve business goals.
  • Analyze data and monitor quality performance of suppliers.
  • Engage with suppliers through communication and relationship building.
  • Read, understand, and communicate technical drawings and specifications.
  • Gain experience across various teams and categories.
  • Participate in IT/systems/simulation activities aligned with industry and digital transformations in supplier quality.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, or a relevant STEM field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Teams; experience with Power BI is a plus but full training will be provided.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Positive attitude, strong motivation, and team-oriented mindset.
