Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Darlington is seeking an enthusiastic Project Management placement student to join our Enterprise Platforms team for a 12-month placement commencing Summer 2027. The role is on-site three days per week, with relocation or commuting to site.

You will support global meetings, assist with project tasks, and gain exposure to industry tools such as six sigma, stakeholder management, auditing, testing and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Project Management or related business subject.
• Strong IT skills, especially Microsoft Office.
• Data collation, problem solving and innovative thinking.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate global meetings with regular updates.
• Act as a project resource on assignments with foundational PM knowledge.
• Gain exposure to industry tools and standards such as six sigma.

Job description

During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry.

This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence Summer 2027.

The requirements are for the successful candidate to be on-site 3 days per week, so it is important that you can relocate, or be within a commutable distance to site.
