About the role

Our placements last for 12 months, working across both design and construction teams, to offer the broadest exposure to the industry, working on real-world projects that make a difference in communities. It's a great chance to get involved with live projects while gaining experience relevant to your degree.

What you'll do

Collaborate with experienced mechanical engineers both on-site and in the office, gaining practical experience in mechanical systems and project implementation. Engage in a variety of water and wastewater projects, from design and planning to installation and maintenance, ensuring systems operate efficiently and effectively. Enhance your skills in mechanical design, system analysis, and problem-solving, preparing you for a successful career in mechanical engineering. Adhere to health and safety guidelines and promote a safe working environment on all projects.
