Placement Coordinator | 8302 | Fixed term contract/secondment opportunity until 30 September 2026 | £27,053 to £28,568 per annum (Scale H) | 30 hours per week | County Hall, Norwich

In Adult Social Services we have a clear vision of what we are here to do – to support people to be independent, resilient and well, underpinned by our Promoting Independence Strategy.

Housing with Care and Independent Living offer is a real priority for Norfolk County and we have an exciting portfolio of growth in this type of provision over the coming years to promote independent living for older people.

As a result of a secondment opportunity, we are looking to recruit a Placement Co-ordinator that is passionate about optimising this offer working alongside our delivery partners for Housing with care and Independent Living.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across commissioning and operational teams, with a variety of partners, to maximise occupancy for our Housing with Care Schemes and implement processes that aligns Housing with Care with our future vision of Extra Care Housing and our Living Well – Homes for Norfolk Strategy for Older People.

We are looking for someone with a passion for developing and driving improvements by pro-actively building collaborative relationships with others, with experience of carrying out care act assessments to assist in the project work required to deliver change.

You will be able to demonstrate a sound analytical approach to problem solving and be able to evidence your creativity in developing new solutions. As a strong communicator and influencer, you will be the primary point of contact for void management for our partners.

We are looking for a team member that can work on their own initiative, lead on pieces of work and to develop strong working relationships, reporting to a commissioning manager, is essential.
