Job summary

Lorien is seeking an experienced PKI & HSM Engineer to join a specialist cryptography team supporting a major security infrastructure migration programme.

The role is hands-on, focused on managing HSMs, PKI and certificate management across on-premise and cloud environments, with hybrid work across multiple UK sites. You will handle on-site and cloud PKI, certificate lifecycle, and cryptographic key ceremonies, collaborating with cryptography specialists on critical security initiatives.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with HSMs and PKI environments.
• Experience managing large-scale digital certificates.
• Participation in HSM migration projects and ceremonies.
• Familiarity with cryptographic key management processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain HSM infrastructure across sites.
• Support HSM migration activities across multiple sites.
• Execute and support cryptographic key ceremonies.
• Administer PKI environments and certificate lifecycle management.
• Manage large-scale certificate estates across cloud and on-prem.
