Job summary

Thales in the UK is seeking an experienced Cryptographic Services Architect to lead architecture, design and delivery of cryptographic solutions across secure, mission-critical projects.

You will shape PKI, HSMs, PQC migrations, and certificate lifecycle across bids and delivery, engaging stakeholders and mentoring engineers while ensuring security and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise PKI and cryptographic solutions.
• Strong understanding of CA, certificate lifecycle management and root of trust.
• Hands-on with PKI platforms such as Keyfactor, EJBCA, ADCS and Azure CS.

Responsibilities

• Lead cryptographic architecture for bids, proposals and delivery.
• Define secure, scalable solutions aligned with customer requirements.
• Produce architectural documentation and present to stakeholders.
• Support transition from bid to delivery preserving architectural integrity.
• Mentor engineers and drive continuous improvement in practices.
