Job summary

WSH Restaurants in Newbury is seeking an experienced Pizza Chef to join our culinary team. You will prepare and cook a variety of pizzas to meet customer orders and uphold quality standards.

The role requires mastery of hand-stretched pizza making, strict adherence to food safety rules, and the ability to work under pressure, including evenings and weekends. 45-hour weeks with a salary of up to £36,000 per annum.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Pizza Chef in a high-volume kitchen
• Mastery of hand-stretched pizza making techniques
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends
• Attention to presentation and quality

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas to order while maintaining quality standards
• Create and manage pizza sauce recipes and topping combinations
• Develop new pizza recipes and contribute to menu innovation
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations in the kitchen
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain efficient operations
• Manage multiple orders simultaneously during peak hours
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace
• Work effectively as part of a team to deliver high-quality culinary results
• Address customer requests and dietary requirements when possible
