Sheffield United FC Women are seeking a Casual Academy Physiotherapist to provide high-quality medical support across Academy fixtures and activities. This role focuses on health, safety and wellbeing of academy players, delivering pitch-side care and contributing to injury management.

You will work with the Academy Lead Physiotherapist and Sports Medicine team to assess and treat injuries, support return-to-play, and maintain medical records.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering pitch-side medical care and treating injuries.
• Ability to maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Willingness to attend evening training sessions and match days.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development (CPD).

Responsabilités

• Work pitch-side at home and away matches, assessing fitness to play.
• Deliver first aid for injuries and assess brain injury as needed.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to provide medical services.
• Update injury status to Academy Lead Physiotherapist and team.
• Coordinate with pitch-side staff during games.
• Be available for directed advice outside hours, within reason.
• Assist in staff training and CPD activities.
• Maintain stocks of medicines and equipment for away matches.
• Complete medical records and use KitmanLabs for documentation.
• Attend mandatory safeguarding and equality training.
• Adhere to safeguarding policies and reporting procedures.
