Job summary

Cheltenham Town F.C. is seeking a dedicated Sports Therapist to work with predominantly Foundation Phase teams and support Youth Phase as needed. The role covers pitch-side first aid/trauma management during training and fixtures on evenings, reporting to the Academy Senior Physiotherapist.

The candidate will liaise with the Lead 9s-16s Sports Therapist and work across schoolboy age groups, ensuring swift and professional medical support during sessions and matches.

Qualifications

• Experience as a sports therapist in football environments.
• ICT experience of PMA, Excel, Word and any other software as required to carry out duties.

Responsibilities

• Emergency pitch-side first aid, diagnosis and treatment of injuries, early injury rehabilitation and management.
• Assist other medical staff and liaise with coaches and family regarding player wellbeing.
