Pitch / Bid Manager Role at a Top International Law Firm

This firm has an outstanding reputation for collaboration, innovation, and a great culture. The role is based in London with 2 days of remote work per week.

As a Bid Manager, you will be responsible for project managing key panel pitches and developing pitch infrastructure. You will be part of the firm’s pitch centre of excellence, which boasts a win rate of at least 70%. The team utilizes a strong pipeline management system, allowing them to be proactive long before pitches land in inboxes. This enables a truly consultative and advisory role in support of the partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Defining strategies for each pitch and creating tailored win strategies, including persuasive value propositions and compelling messaging.
• Engaging and managing contributing functions such as pricing, compliance, knowledge, BD, and CRM.
• Coaching team members to improve pitch performance.
• Conducting internal and external pitch debriefs.
• Staying updated with market best practices and sharing knowledge with the wider BD team.

You should have a proven track record in bid management within professional services, especially for complex cross-border bids. Excellent writing skills and experience coaching partners are essential. This is a great opportunity to work with some of the best lawyers in their field.
