Job summary

Carter Murray is seeking a Pitch Executive to join its collaborative Business Development team in London. You will support the delivery of high-quality pitches, proposals and pursuit activities that contribute to the firm's growth strategy.

Working with partners, lawyers and BD professionals, you will coordinate and deliver client-facing pitch materials across practice areas, ensuring clear messaging and branding.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end management of pitches, proposals, presentations and RFP responses.
• Coordinate inputs from stakeholders to produce client-facing materials.
• Draft, edit and tailor pitch content to client needs and strategy.
• Maintain pitch content, credentials and best-practice materials.
• Ensure messaging consistency with Business Development and Marketing teams.
• Research clients, markets and competitors to strengthen proposals.
• Track pitch activity and outcomes to drive improvements.
• Prepare partners and fee earners for client presentations.

A leading professional services firm is seeking a Pitch Executive to join its collaborative Business Development team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded professional to support the delivery of high-quality pitches, proposals and pursuit activities that contribute directly to the firm's growth strategy.

Working closely with partners, lawyers and business development professionals, you will play a key role in the preparation, coordination and delivery of compelling pitch and proposal documents across a variety of practice areas and sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end management of pitches, proposals, presentations and RFP responses.
• Coordinate input from stakeholders across the firm to produce compelling client-facing materials.
• Draft, edit and tailor pitch content to align with client requirements and strategic objectives.
• Assist with the development and maintenance of pitch content, credentials and best-practice materials.
• Work with Business Development and Marketing teams to ensure consistency in messaging and branding.
• Conduct research on clients, markets, industries and competitors to strengthen proposal content.
• Track pitch activity, outcomes and lessons learned to support continuous improvement.
• Help prepare partners and fee earners for client presentations and panel appointments.

Key Requirements

• Experience in a pitches, proposals, bids or business development role within legal, professional services or a similar environment.
• Strong written communication and editing skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Word.
• Commercial awareness and an interest in supporting business growth initiatives.
