Job summary

Belcan Workforce Solutions in Reading, UK, seeks an experienced Piping & Pipelines Lead to provide technical leadership and discipline expertise across all project phases from concept to execution.

You will lead the piping discipline, oversee FEED and detailed design, coordinate with subsurface and other disciplines, manage interfaces, mentor engineers and ensure compliance with standards and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in oil & gas, energy, petrochemical or related process industries.
• Experience across design phase and mechanical aspects of piping and pipelines.
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards professional registration would be advantageous.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and coordinating engineering deliverables.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the piping and pipelines engineering discipline across major project activities.
• Provide technical direction and oversight during Pre-FEED, FEED and detailed design phases.
• Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, specifications, codes and safety requirements.
• Coordinate interfaces with multidisciplinary engineering teams and key stakeholders.
• Support business planning, project planning and engineering delivery activities.
• Manage discipline risks, technical queries and design reviews.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to engineers and designers within the discipline.
• Work closely with sub-surface and other technical disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.
