Technical Engineering Support (TES) is an engineering company created over 30 years ago, specializing in the coordination of tests and industrial commissioning. TES also supports its customers in participating in studies and coordinating the assembly of industrial equipment.
We are currently seeking a Piping Construction Engineer (f/m).
Accountabilities:
- Delegation of responsibilities to CE’s/Works Coordination Leads. Lead, manage and motivate the team through implementation of best practices.
- Deliver Discipline Specific Construction Work Pack scope of works to support the MEH construction activities.
- Define boundary of scope of works.
- Liaise with necessary SMEs and client counterparts.
- Ensure documents are compliant with latest works information and other MEH documentation.
- Keep documents up-to-date and review at least every 6 months.
- Own and drive deliverables from conception to A-Accepted status, aiming for >90% first-time acceptance.
- Prioritize and own documentation to enable construction as per the level 4 plan, e.g., T-3 months accepted prior to works.
- Support continuous improvement programmes to enhance processes and procedures.
- Report directly to the Building Manager or nominated deputy.
- Provide positive HSE leadership, fostering a strong and compliant HS&E culture throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with all nuclear safety and site licence requirements.
Review and provide feedback on the adequacy of resources to effectively support the function.
Key Deliverables:
- Deliver Construction Work Packs supporting the MEH Alliance programme.
- Facilitate the use of the Procon system for construction support and progress reporting.
- Ensure compliance with the Work Authorization and Permit systems operated by NNB.
- Coordinate safe access routing to workfaces for the MEH Alliance construction works.
Support topographical and other surveying activities required for the MEH Alliance construction works.
Qualifications:
- Engineering Degree (or equivalent).
- Relevant Professional Accreditation (PM, Construction, Engineering).
- Ability to achieve Security Clearance (BPSS or higher).
- CCNSG Safety Passport.
- IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH certification.
Experience:
- At least 5 years’ experience coordinating a multidisciplinary team (Mechanical/Electrical/HVAC) in a construction environment.
- Proven track record in nuclear power preferred.
- Experience working on major construction projects.
Experience in delivering and operating at Engineer or Senior Engineer level, including within Joint Ventures.
