Pipework Project Engineer — Nuclear Energy Career Impact

Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Project Engineer (Pipework) to support manufacturing progress on the HPC project and coordinate with RD, Execution Design, Production Teams and external manufacturers to resolve technical issues efficiently.

You will lead change control, manage the Technical Query process and ensure CEMAR is updated; a degree in engineering and regulated-environment experience are required to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in an engineering, construction, or other related field.
• Track record of delivering engineering in a technically complex and regulated environment such as Nuclear Energy.
• Expertise in pipework manufacturing / construction / management.
• Proven ability to deliver engineering safely to quality, time and cost in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience engaging and influencing stakeholders and facilitating issue resolution.
• Strong presentation, communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing Engineering (Technical) support to the Package Project Management team.
• Collate and maintain support tracker for releases and design holds HO2 through to HO3.
• Manage change management relating to design updates post HO2, pre HO3.
• Manage the Technical Query process with stakeholders and facilitate responses.
• Ensure CEMAR is maintained to reflect TQ progress and resolutions.
• Provide technical input into HO1-HO2 Constructability issues as required.
• Provide support to Lead as required.
