In Virtual Production, PXO helps clients to realize their creative vision, from production through to post-production. Responsibilities

• Provide day to day pipeline support to shows across 3D and 2D related tools.

• Maintain show based tools along with creating smaller features.

• Resolve technical problems for productions with department leads and supervisors.

• Act as the liaison between production/artists and pipeline based on projects.

• Do code reviews and give productive feedback to team members.

• Follow studio standards for version control, documentation, and testing.

• Submit your own code for code reviews.



Requirements

• 2 years of expierence as a TD within the VFX, or Animation industry

• Experience with using Python, Mel and TCL in a produciton environment.

• Experience with Windows and Linux.

• Solid understanding and production experience with Maya, Houdini, Nuke, and ShotGrid.

• Strong understanding of colorspaces and OCIO .

• Strong grasp of asset and shot workflows across departments.

• Familiarity with git / svn and collaborative workflows (code review, standards, etc.)



Desirable

• UI development using PySide / PyQt4.

• Experience building VFX C/C++ libraries and dependencies on Windows.

• Experience with Regular Expressions.

• Familiarity with USD and modern scene description paradigms.

• A generalist mindset with the ability to troubleshoot across both 3D and 2D pipelines.
