LNT Construction Limited, part of LNT Care Developments is currently recruiting for a Pipelayer to work within a team of groundworkers and join our site teams nationwide.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pipelayer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pipe laying for various infrastructure projects and will be committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation of foul and surface water drainage to adoptable standards (“the Code”).
  • Lead on deep excavations with EUSR Categories 3, 4 & 5 – Install, Inspect & Remove Timber, Steel and Proprietary Excavation Support Systems experience.
  • Medium Risk Confined Space management.
  • Perform and log drainage air/water tests.
  • Operate and maintain construction equipment related to pipe installation.
  • Read and interpret drawings and project specifications.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of tools and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Valid CSCS card.
  • City & Guilds Medium Risk Confined space certification.
  • EUSR Categories 3, 4 & 5 – Install, Inspect & Remove Timber, Steel and Proprietary Excavation Support Systems.
  • Proven experience as a pipelayer in the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of pipe laying techniques and procedures.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and challenging environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
