Job description

Job Opportunity: Pipefitter

We are seeking skilled pipefitters for ongoing contracts working on marine vessels within the defence industry.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Pipe fabrication and bending
  2. Using saws, cutting torches, and threading machines
  3. Overhauling main machine room pumps
  4. Fabricating pipe runs and installing valves
  5. Performing preventative maintenance and emergency repairs

Applicants should have City and Guilds, NVQ Level 3 qualified or equivalent pipefitting qualifications.

Benefits:

  • £19.22 PAYE for the first 38 hours
  • Overtime paid at time and a half on weekdays and Saturdays, double time on Sundays and bank holidays
