Job summary

H&F Moir Engineering is seeking a Pipefitter for an on-site contract role in Kinellar. You will read and interpret technical drawings and isometrics, install and assemble piping systems, and fabricate pipe sections using standard tools.

The role covers measuring, cutting, threading, bending and fitting pipes, with welding preparation as needed. Work will take place in workshop and on site, with emphasis on safety, teamwork and meeting project timelines.

Qualifications

• Strong pipefitting skills including reading drawings, measuring, cutting, threading, bending and assembling pipework.
• Fabrication-related skills including working with metals, preparing materials for welding, and using hand and power tools safely.
• Practical site skills, adhering to health and safety procedures in Oil & Gas, Subsea, Petrochemicals, Marine, Renewables, Construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings and isometric diagrams.
• Install and assemble piping systems and fabricate pipe sections using standard tools and equipment.
• Perform measuring, cutting, threading, bending and fitting pipes; prepare for welding as required.
• Work safely in workshop and on site; collaborate with supervisors and other trades to meet project timelines.
