Position: Pipefitter
Location: Middlesbrough, TS3 9DB
Start Date: Monday, 21st July
Duration: Approximately 2 months
Working Hours: 10-hour days (Monday to Friday)
Project Type: School installation project - DBS check required

Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Pipefitter to join a site team for a project located in Middlesbrough (TS3). This is a school-based installation project expected to last 2 months, with potential for extended work based on site progress and performance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for crimping steel pipework, working closely with other trades on-site to ensure high standards and timely delivery of works. All works must adhere to strict health and safety procedures, particularly given the sensitive nature of the school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Crimping steel pipework for heating and domestic systems

Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings

Ensuring all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and health & safety regulations

Collaborating with site supervisors and other team members

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Adhering to site security requirements including DBS protocols

Requirements:

Valid Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card

Basic DBS Check (Disclosure and Barring Service) - must be current and valid

Proven experience in crimping steel within commercial or educational environments

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Strong awareness of health & safety procedures, especially within school sites

Additional Information:

All candidates must be eligible to work in the UK

Immediate start from Monday, 21st July
