Job summary

Owen Daniels are recruiting experienced Pipefitters for the Hinkley Point C project in Somerset. This long-term position offers exposure to one of the UK\'s largest infrastructure projects and ongoing requirements for skilled trades on site.

You will install and fit pipework systems, read engineering drawings, and work to strict quality and safety standards as part of a larger mechanical installation team.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ in Pipefitting/Mechanical discipline.
• CCNSG Safety Passport.
• Security clearance.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Experience in highly regulated environments would be advantageous.
• Experience at Hinkley Point C would be beneficial but isn’t essential.

Responsibilities

• Install and fit pipework systems from engineering drawings and specifications.
• Measure, cut, prepare and assemble pipework.
• Install supports, valves and components.
• Work to strict quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with a wider mechanical installation team.
• Ensure all work complies with site procedures.
