Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking qualified Pipefitters to join their team in Aberdeen City, Scotland. The role involves mechanical installations on residential apartment blocks, drilling, fitting timber batons, and ensuring proper insulation of pipework. Candidates must hold a valid CSCS card and have experience in installing crimp-fit stainless steel pipework along with thermal insulation. This position provides the opportunity to work on diverse projects throughout the UK.

Qualifications

• CSCS card with trade is mandatory.
• Experience with crimp-fit stainless steel pipework is essential.
• Must be able to fit thermal pipework insulation.

Responsibilities

• Complete mechanical installations on residential apartment blocks.
• Drill holes and fit timber batons for incasement.
• Fit and secure pipe supports and pipework.
• Conduct air tests on pipework and fit insulation.
• Fit incasement covers.

The Client

One of the UK's largest M&E building services organisations, supporting all aspects of Commercial, Domestic and Industrial projects throughout England, Wales and Scotland.

The Role

Working on a residential apartment block, the ideal candidate will have a background in Pipefitting, completing all aspects of mechanical installation to existing risers and communal areas.

Prior experience working with the below is essential:

• Drilling 40mm holes through existing walls
• Fit timber batons for incasement
• Fix pipe supports and pipework
• Air test pipe and fit insulation
• Fit incasement covers
