Job summary

Tech People are currently recruiting for an experienced Pipefitter to work on a project in Reading, Berkshire. You must have PASMA and a valid CSCS card (Gold or Blue) for mechanical pipefitting. Hours are Mon-Thu 7:30am-4:00pm, Fri 7:30am-3:00pm with a 30-minute unpaid break.

Rate £27.00-£28.00 per hour, depending on experience. Free on-site parking available. Project duration is 6-8 weeks, starting 29/06/2026.

Qualifications

• HOLD a valid CSCS Card (Gold or Blue) for mechanical pipefitting.
• PASMA certification is required.
• Experience in commercial construction and pipefitting.
• Reliable and able to work independently with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Erect the primary substructure on site.
• Install and bolt up flanged pipework.
• Work with a bolted carbon steel pipework system.
• Bring own tools and PPE as specified.
