Our partner, BAE Systems, is seeking experienced Pipe Fitters to join their growing team in Glasgow on a 12-month contract. Competitive salary rates are offered for both locals and those willing to commute.

What will I be doing?

As a talented Pipefitter, you'll shape essential piping and plumbing systems and make a real impact both in the workshop and on the ships.

In the Shop:

You'll craft a range of small and large bore pipework from a variety of materials, including copper and carbon steel.

You'll use a range of hand tools and mechanical equipment to cut, bend, braze, solder, and weld pipes to perfection, as you make sure that every system you create is both functional and effective.

Onboard Ships:

You'll become an expert in installing essential plumbing systems on ships, including sinks, showers, and toilets.

Your skills will also be key in fabricating and installing pipework systems, both large and small, using a range of materials to support the smooth operation of vital ship systems.

BAE Systems offers a range of pay rates to contractors, depending on your shift allocation and travel distance to site. Speak to our team to learn more about available shift options and payment options.

For Umbrella Contractors living within 39 miles of the base:

• Standard Shift - £25.22 per hour
• Weekend and Night Shift - £33.36 per hour
• Weekday and Saturday OT - £35.43 per hour
• Sunday OT - £47.20 per hour

For Umbrella Contractors living more than 39 miles of the base:

• Standard Shift - £35.62 per hour
• Weekend and Night Shift - £43.76 per hour
• Weekday and Saturday OT - £35.77 per hour
• Sunday OT - £47.43 per hour
