HR Business Partner at Dalkia Engineering

Dalkia Engineering boasts a team of highly skilled and technical mechanical and electrical installation professionals. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Instrument Pipe Fitter to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic company working on exciting projects across various sectors, focusing on delivering precision and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems for instruments, valves, and other components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to ensure correct pipe fabrication and installation.
  • Perform installation of instrument tubing, pipework, and associated components to meet operational and safety standards.
  • Test and inspect piping systems for leaks, pressure, and compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Collaborate with the instrumentation team to ensure proper integration of pipework with electrical and control systems.
  • Ensure all pipe fitting work complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, workmanship, and safety on-site.
  • Assist with commissioning and decommissioning of equipment and systems.
  • Support maintenance and repair activities as required.

Key Requirements:

  • A valid ECS trade card
  • A valid CCNSG National Safety Passport
  • Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds Level 3 in Instrumentation or Pipe Fitting (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience as an Instrument Pipe Fitter or similar mechanical/technical role within the industrial sector
  • Strong knowledge of instrument piping systems, fittings, and assembly techniques
  • Experience working with materials like stainless steel, copper, and plastic piping
  • Familiarity with instrumentation and control systems, including flow and pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Full UK driving license
  • Understanding of health and safety practices and a commitment to safe working procedures
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
